San Diego's 280 Finest

During last year alone, our 280 volunteers spent 44,977 hours serving over 1,413,891 San Diego visitors and residents.

They answered an average of 3,874 questions every day.

These remarkable men and women are trained to locate friends and relatives, as well as assist travelers with special needs such as the very young, the elderly, runaways, foreign and disabled travelers. In their lighter moments, they also direct visitors to local attractions and accommodations.
