The Help on the Move Luncheon was created to educate community supporters and potential volunteers or donors about Travelers Aid Society of San Diego. Our program helps to make up a network called Travelers Aid International, but operates separately and independently. There are so many valuable and appreciated programs Travelers Aid either creates, supports, or refers individuals to; fundraising is critical to our success. One of the largest obstacles to sustaining the program through funding is lack of knowledge about the organization and all it does to support San Diegans and visitors to the area. This luncheon aims to solve that problem through education.

Help on the Move, 2006

This year's event will be held December 5th at the Prado in Balboa Park

It is critical to the event's success that we find several Table Captains who will support the event through sharing the experience with friends, co-workers, and family who are not yet familiar with Travelers Aid.

If you are interested in serving as a a Table Captain for this year's event, please contact our office at 619.295.8393. You will be asked to invite 10-15 individuals to join you and learn more about Travelers Aid. The luncheon is free, and donations in any amount participants feel comfortable with will be appreciated at the conclusion of the meal and presentation.
