In our seventh year hosting this event, guests were treated to wine and beer tasting, appetizers, live music, and fabulous live and silent auctions. All proceeds benefitted our Journey to Safety program. Through this unique program, women and children who are victims of domestic violence are provided with assistance in seeking counseling and other support services, and help with fleeing their abusers for places of safety.
Linda married her high school sweetheart and they settled in the Los Angeles area. Things were going well for the young couple when her husband began to verbally abuse her.
